Apology By Plato

The Apology of Socrates or Apology was written by the Classical Greek philosopher Plato. It is Plato's version of Socrates' speech given in defense of charges of corrupting young minds that was levied against the latter.

Plato, his mentor Socrates, and student Aristotle, are credited with having laid the foundations of Western philosophy and science.
